Outback Edge Imports started with a simple frustration: if you wanted a genuinely capable knife in Australia, the good ones were hard to find, expensive through middlemen, or simply not stocked at all. We set out to fix that.

Based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, we import and stock knives and cutting tools from the brands that matter — ESEE, Buck, Victorinox, Kershaw, Ontario Knife Company, Dexter Russell, CMB Made, and Work Sharp. Not an exhaustive catalogue of everything with a blade, but a curated range of tools we'd actually use ourselves.

We sell tools. Whether that's a Dexter Russell boning knife for a commercial kitchen, an ESEE fixed blade for a week in the bush, or a Victorinox Swiss Army knife that's lived in someone's pocket for twenty years — the knives we carry are bought because they work.
